The regulation outlines the procedure for preparing and submitting the "Calculation of the Reserve Base and Reserve Requirement" (hereinafter, the Report) to Latvijas Banka by credit unions registered in the Republic of Latvia (hereinafter, a credit union), to ensure compliance with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 1745/2003 of the European Central Bank of 12 September 2003 on the application of minimum reserves (hereinafter, the ECB Regulation) as of 1 January To ensure compliance with the reserve requirements for the first three maintenance periods of 2014 ending on 14 January, on 11 February and on 11 March 2014, a credit union shall prepare, pursuant to the requirements of the ECB Regulation, a Report (Appendix), based on the data of the Monthly Financial Position Report of 30 September The credit union shall submit the Report referred to in this Paragraph to Latvijas Banka by 11 November A credit union shall submit the Report for the maintenance periods ending on 8 April, 13 May and 10 June 2014, based on the data of the Monthly Financial Position Report of 31 December The credit union shall submit the Report referred to in this Paragraph to Latvijas Banka by 10 January In the Report, a credit union shall report liabilities to a credit institution registered in the Republic of Latvia, a branch, registered in the Republic of Latvia, of a credit institution registered in another country and a credit union registered in the Republic of Latvia as liabilities to MFIs subject to reserve requirements. 5. The Report shall be submitted to Latvijas Banka in electronic form pursuant to the Latvijas Banka regulation stipulating the procedure for electronic exchange of information with Latvijas Banka. 6. The terms used in the Report have the same meaning as defined in the ECB Regulation.

2 2 7. The regulation shall take effect three months prior to the date when the Council of the European Union, pursuant to Article 140(2) of the Treaty, has abrogated the derogation granted to the Republic of Latvia. Governor of Latvijas Banka I. Rimšēvičs
